The Jamaican High Commissioner, Her Excellency Aloun Ndombet-Assamba takes this opportunity to express sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who have supported the appeal for contributions to the Special Relief Fund established by the High Commission in the aftermath of the passage of Hurricane Sandy. To date, donations totalling approximately £3,702 have been received for transmission to the relevant authorities in Jamaica. The Fund remains open so further contributions are welcome. Thank you. All the best for the New Year.

Privatisation of the Management of Beachfront properties owned by UDC

The Development Bank of Jamaica is managing the privatisation of four beachfront properties owned by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC). They are Fort Clarence Beach in St. Catherine, Bluefields Beach in Westmoreland, Long Bay Beach 1 and 2 in Hanover/Westmoreland. Interested Persons are required to submit formal Expressions of Interest directly to Price Waterhouse Coopers. Interested investors will be asked to participate in a prequalification process and a public tender bidding process. Attached are copies of the Preliminary Information Guide document and the advertisement for information.
