
PROGRAMME - Jamaica's 58th Anniversary of Independence Virtual Service of Praise and Thanksgiving
On the occasion of Jamaica’s 58th Anniversary of Independence, the Jamaican High Commission will host a Service of Praise and Thanksgiving on Emancipation Day, Saturday, 1st August 2020, commencing at 11 o’clock at the Emmanuel Centre, 9-23 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3DW.
While every effort will be made to welcome as many Jamaicans and Friends of Jamaica as possible, the capacity for the venue is 900. Consequently, seating will be on a first come first served basis.
Due to health and safety regulations, once the capacity of the Emmanuel Centre is reached, we will not be able to allow additional access to the building.
Persons planning to attend the service are being asked to be seated by 10:45a.m. and to follow the instructions of the stewards and ushers.
The doors of the Centre will closed at 10:55a.m. to facilitate the prompt start of the service.
