Items Subject to Import/Export licensing
Some of the items subject to import licensing are:
Import
- Motor Vehicles
- Firearms & Ammunition
- Hydrogen, Rare Gases and other Non-Metals
- Sulphuric Acid, Oleum
- Propellant Powders
- Explosives
- Milk, Milk Powder and certain concentrated extracts
- Plants and Plant extracts
- Recreational equipment
Export
A total of seventeen (17) items are subject to export licensing, namely:
- Ammunition (explosives and firearms)
- Crocodiles
- Crocodiles eggs
- Eggs (N.O.P)
- Antique furniture
- Gold bullion and fully or semi-manufactured gold (including jewellery)
- Ores – Minerals and metals including Bauxite, Alumina and Gypsum
- Paintings (antique)
- Pimento
- Plasma – in any form
- Sugar – as such
- Wood – Lignum Vitae and log wood only
- Petroleum products
- Motor vehicles
- Animals: Live (subject to Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species administered by NEPA. Other animal's exports must continue to comply with guidelines of permits issued by the MOA Veterinary Division where applicable.
- Jewellery (excluding those from earth metals)
- Shells (subject to Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species administered by NEPA).
