PLEASE NOTE
- In most cases applications for Citizenship by Descent will be processed within 6 months of the date of application. HOWEVER, some applications may take longer based on the documentary evidence provided to support the application. Citizenship must first be granted and a Citizenship Certificate produced before an application for a passport can be processed.
- There is a one (1) year minimum waiting time for the processing of applications for Citizenship by Marriage.
